WHO: The original American Indian people of the southeast WHAT: Southeast Tribes Festival HOW: Adults $7 all-day pass; children ages 6-12 $3; Children 5 and under free. EBCI members free with enrollment card WHY: To bring together the original tribes of the southeast for a two day reunion of dancing, food, storytelling, living history, arts and crafts demonstrations, stickball, blowguns, and running.

Southeast Tribes Festival 5K RUN
WHO: Open to the public. Receive a free festival t-shirt and one-day pass with $10 registration fee. Members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians $5. WHAT: 5K Run WHEN: 9:00 am Saturday Sept. 18 WHERE: Kituhwa Mound Field on Rt. 19. South of Cherokee HOW: Register at the Museum of the Cherokee Indian Sept. or register at the run. WHY: Fun, fitness, and culture! Winners in their age group will receive ribbons.
